“We found Banbury Heights to be a warm, homely, friendly and kind environment. All the staff were lovely and my mother-in-law was very well cared for.
Nothing was too much trouble and we felt all staff listened to our concerns and requests very well.
I believe the staff way outshone the actual building which is very tired and dated, but then my mother-in-law wasn't looking at the decor!! Our experience, our first for all of us, was as good and positive as it possibly could be thanks to all.”
“My stay at Banbury Heights was short and unexpected. I found the staff cheerful and willing and they made my Christmas holiday.”
“Right from arrival and during my stay, all staff showed a very open and very caring attitude. Much different to my previous experience.
You were made to feel you were part of a large family and no request was too much trouble. This goes for management down to cleaners.
I was impressed by the efforts to bring entertainment in just before Christmas.
I rate the staff as highly motivated and professional.”
“A very dear friend of mine moved from hospital in Banbury, to Banbury Heights on 17th November 2018. The respect, care and dignity they afforded my friend was exceptional. From the management, secretary, food providers, helpers and the nursing staff - they were warm and friendly, understanding and very willing and helpful.
Thank you all very much.”
“I found Banbury Heights a very nice place. I was very looked after and for the way that they did look after me, was beyond my hopes. I will be sorry to leave the hospital, everyone was so helpful and courteous.”

The resident has now passed away and they could not have been more supportive.”
“After the initial shock of a parent having to go into a nursing home, we found on arrival we were greeted by management and put at ease straight away. All carers were professional and a few went beyond their duties to make mum feel comfortable. She was always treated with dignity. Thank you.”
“I love being here. I will miss this care home. I have been here for 4 weeks. If I had a choice I would come back here.
I am moving to a house. I will miss the residents, carers and the lady is a very good cook. I will give Banbury Heights 100 out of 100.”
“My father was moved to Banbury Heights care home on 6th August 2018. Sadly he passed away on 12th September 2018. This is an excellent care home. The staff were caring and made his last weeks comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful to me in his last couple of days. This is an excellent setting for a home from home placement. Just wish I had moved him there years ago. He would have loved the home and the staff. My father had advanced dementia.”
“Wonderful caring home. Staff could not be more outstanding, nothing was too much trouble for them.
Meals were excellent.
It has been a pleasure to be here.”
“After a shaky couple of hours on admission, due to a mix up in hospital, the nursing staff were extremely reassuring and demonstrated real comfort towards myself and my mum.
She has had exemplary care since her arrival and after three weeks is still really happy with the way she has been cared for.
The dignity and kindness shown is obvious from my daily visits. Although she is looking forward to returning home, I think she will be sad to leave!”
“I like the place very much, good company. Good entertainment.
Good staff, good management. Good meals. I would put anybody in care in Banbury Heights.”
“I have appreciated my time spent here. Staff have been very good and helpful.”

“My mother spent the last two months of her life at Banbury Heights Nursing Home. The whole staff were professional, compassionate, patient and kind. They took great care of my mum and provided exactly the right level of care. Their communication with me was excellent. I would unequivocally recommend Banbury Heights Nursing Home to any family in the same situation.”
“My mother went to stay for a short time with a terminal illness, she liked her carer and was treated with dignity and respect. The staff are very friendly, made you feel welcome, very dedicated and willing to help. They made her stay and ours as pleasant as it could be.”
“Dad spent a couple of weeks at Banbury Heights and from what I saw of the home it was truly exceptional. Staff were excellent, food was very good and the place itself was exceptional. Given the horror stories one hears about residential homes, this place was without doubt exceptional.”
“To everyone here,
I have been very welcomed here and have been cared by everyone who have been so kind to me all the weeks I have been here.
Nothing but kindness every day I've been here. I hope that everyone knows how I feel about the kindness I have had every day.”
“The staff was excellent. Treated my late father with dignity. Everywhere in the home was nice and clean.”
“Very knowledgeable Nursing staff that lead the overall staff team well. Ensuring that all staff are attentive and respectful to residents. Personally, it was nice for my Dad to have male staff on duty too. The home also has a brilliant 'activities' team, organising some truly memorable days and events that the whole family are invited to.
THANK YOU for all you did!!”
“Throughout a bright clean colourful environment love and care displayed by smiling faces, caring, helpful and uplifted attitude. Colourful mobiles hang from the ceilings fresh young flowers abundantly arranged in halls, rooms, nooks and crannies beautiful! Safe comfortable homely relaxation spaces both in and outdoors. The walls display wonderful memory lane photographs of residents wedding, activities etc.
Group and individual outings arranged to match individual residents interests. I have seen many homes this one is outstanding. This is where I would like to be.”
“My mother spent 4 years at Banbury Heights and in all that time, was cared for very well. When she dies at the end of May 2017, their compassion and care from the staff was excellent. We spent as much time as we wanted with my dying mother and family. She died very peacefully and with dignity. Overall, the home was excellent.”
“I live in Australia but phoned mum regularly.
Each time I did the staff were always helpful and cheerful.
When mum became ill they spoke to us about her with genuine concern.
We visited the home on mum's death and found the staff compassionate.
We looked through the home and found it clean and inviting.
The staff knew who I was from the many phone calls and offered genuine symapathy.
On the whole, I was happy with where mum spent the last few years of her life.”
“My mother tells me every day how happy she is and how caring the staff are.
After the first few months of my mother's residence at the home, my daughter told me, I am not sure what to do, I have never had to deal with a really happy Nan before!”
“The care and staff are second to none. Brilliant!”
“Excellent care at all times, my mum was looked after really well and nothing was too much trouble for the staff of Banbury Heights. They went out of their way to make sure she was happy and comfortable at all times.”
“Banbury Heights Nursing Home was used for my father's rehabilitation that he so needed after spending a long period of time in the hospital. The care provided was of a high standard towards my father. The carers and nurses were very kind caring, friendly and considerate towards my father and us as a family. We were always made welcome and cannot fault the care that was provided.”
“A very caring service.”
“For the past year, my mother has been a resident of Banbury Heights, the first five moths with her husband. Upon his death, the staff have helped her to move on, join in, become a new person. It is hard to find fault with the care that she gets.
She is very happy in herself, the carers encourage her to enjoy her life and help her with all her needs. She tells me she feels safe.”
“My mother spent 8 weeks at the nursing home following her discharge from hospital. The care and support she received was excellent from the whole team. My mother initially was unable to do any of her personal care and had to rely on support from male and female staff. My mum felt that she was treated with respect and her dignity managed under the circumstances.”
